the waterfall and swimming hole is a must see when visiting the southern Pacific zone of Costa Rica. Visiting on a weekday will be the less crowded and best option. I would recommend parking at their lower lot, not next to the main office because the hike down to the start of the trail is very steep and far! an inner tube is a fun way to enjoy relaxing in the pool below the glorious waterfall!

This amazing market in only 2 minutes away from our guest house!! The best way to spend your Tuesday morning is doing a little shopping, buying your organic produce for the week, and maybe sitting down to have a meal or get bodywork done by a variety of healers outside the market.
