Local sailing club which happens to have a balcony over the water where you can enjoy a drink, though I dont quite rate the food. Closes at 9pm on Fridays so not a place for late night social types or partygoers!

This is not a functioning wharf but I love to take walks around Lavender Bay, it's a lovely spot. There are also companies that you can hire kayaks from and do sailing classes. Suggest googling.

A hidden treasure, this garden once an unused piece of foreshore owned by Sydney Rail has been transformed over the years into a hidden garden by Wendy Whiteley, widow of Brett Whiteley an iconic Australian artist. You can also visit Bretts studio which is in Surry Hills. Just to the right of Lavender Bay Ferry Wharf, through the arch and up the steps to the right hand side.
