Named the largest natural skating rink in the world, the canal is a great day activity. Take a stroll along the beautiful canal - or better yet if the conditions are good, rent some skates along the Dow's Lake side of the canal and skate along the 9 miles in length canal while enjoying yourself a hot chocolate and beavertail. Highly recommend to visit during Winterlude to see some amazing ice sculptures and artists, and much more fun family winter fun!
