The beach has reasonable size parking area, nice golden sand, a good grassy reserve area and small cafe located behind the beach. Scorching is a safe location for swimmers and limited swells and generally if there is a wave, conditions wouldn't be pleasant. The area has good rock fishing locations that are easily accessible and therefore the beach is popular year round.
