I love the De Brasserie vibe for sundowners with a light snack. They're a bit pricier than other restaurants, but well worth a visit., and only a 3 minute walk from Cap D'Azur. *Be sure to wear shoes, as they don't allow bare feet.

The Root44 weekend market is a local favourite. If you want great food, great vibes - this is the place! We love going to the market at about 11am (to get good seating, as the market can become very busy in the afternoons) on a Saturday/Sunday, and just eat and chill and listen to live music all day. A visit to Root44 is a MUST. It's also a great option for families with kids, as there is a big supervised playground.

Sightseeing

The Franschhoek wine tram is a MUST! Visit their website to pick your favourite route. The tram typically stops at about 5/6 wine farms during the course of the day - you can hop on / off as you wish for tastings at the different farms. I would definitely recommend Uber'ing to Franschhoek and back, for obvious (wine-ey) reasons. It's such a fun experience, especially with a group, but great for couples as well.
