Sightseeing

Rhossili Bay is renowned for its surfing. You can hire boards and wetsuits at Pj's surf shop in Llangennith village. There are various surf schools that offer lessons too. A great place to visit for a picnic or eat at the cafe at Llangennith on the campsite. Enjoy some simply stunning coastal path walking. Drop into Kings Head in the village of Llangennith for a well deserved pint and bite to eat.

The most stunning views. You can walk over the causeway to Worm's Head at low tide. Great spot for seeing the local Gower wildlife. There is a colony of grey seals here and if you are lucky enough you might see dolphins. There are boat trips around the Worm which start at Oxwich Bay - worth a trip as you get to see the seals and the pair of Peregrine Falcons that nest at the tip of the Worm.

We love walking to the King Arthur for a well deserved lunch from the house. It's approx 8km there and back over Cefn Bryn but well worth the effort. The 360 views of the Gower are absolutely spectacular. Stop off at King Arthur's stone and look out for the Red Kites - Wales' National Bird.

Walk out of the back gate and down through the woods , cross the bridge and tucked away in Parkmill by the Gower Heritage Centre is this little bakery. Open Tuesday -Sunday it has freshly baked breads, pastries and savoury snacks (including vegan & vegetarian). We like to picnic by the ford or stock up for a picnic at Three Cliffs. Their sourdoughs are really good .
