Sightseeing

Lansdowne Crescent - an easy but lovely stroll just outside your door. It's historic - and the only one of its kind in Hobart. Admire the older homes, cottages & plane trees. Even to discover the charming Lansdowne State School (1916) precinct with its dog-walking oval - and lovely views - is a relaxing way to break up your stay. Leave your apartment and turn left.
If you're fit and enjoy a local adventure, take a leisurely stretch-out uphill to Knocklofty (close to us). It's well worth the effort. Once there you'll be amongst native bushland & wildlife, with memorable vistas of Hobart below. Check your Map Apps and Hobart City Council Parks website - for "Knocklofty" Reserve - (& for different ways of entry from our apartment) ...

City advice

Getting around

Walking TO Hobart City on Foot is Easier than Walking Home

Walking to North Hobart Restaurants and Hobart City is fast and easy on foot. But walking back from Hobart City means some uphill walking ... so think about an Uber ($8) or a Bus from the Hobart GPO and Liverpool St (one of the main arterials through town). The Bus Stop is very close to your apartment going to or coming from Hobart. Buses run every half an hour during working weekdays and are a bit less frequent at other times. They can also drop you into North Hobart if you need. Check the "MTT West Hobart Timetable"
