Best beach
Boscombe pier and beach front is only a 10 minute walk away. The beach is beautiful and less busy that Bournemouth beach. You will also find Urban Reef bar and restaurant, with a pizza restaurant attached and a Harvester. Alternatively Urban Beach bar and restaurant is situated pretty much at the end of the road which is equally as lovely as its sister restaurant on the front.

The New Forest is perfect for explorin, long walks and country pubs. You can also hire bikes from Brochenhurst near the train station. There is a direct train to Brochenhurst from Pokesdown station.

Durdle Door is an exceptionally beautiful area of the jurassic coast. I would recommend parking in the car park at Lulworth Cove and walking up the hill to Durdle Door. It's a steep incline but it's worth the effort

Southbourne highstreet is full of lovely restaurants and bars for all your eating and drinking needs. I would particularly recommend the Way Outback Brewery if you like your craft ale. It brews its on ale on site as well as hosting many other good tipples. Larder house does the best Sunday roast, but make sure you book to avoid disappointment!
