Sightseeing

Great shopping, Churches, and Views from the top of the Walls!! Only 17.2km via A8!!!
Cobblestone streets, walled city, filled with shopping and views of the countryside from the top of the walls. Wear shoes with good tread as the walls can be uneven and at times slippery. Restaurants are overpriced, but stop at the bakery on the right directly before the entrance to the walls. It is through a high arched doorway and down about 10 steps on left. If lucky, you will catch a hot batch of either sausage (chorizo) bread or pato (duck pate) bread coming out of the stone over. If going with spouses, bring plenty of cash and thirst. There are bars and restaurants serving alcohol tucked in every corner! ;-)
