Farm to table restaurant with delicious cocktails. If you get in town early afternoon one of the best happy hours in my opinion! Definitely try the pork belly fries if they are on the menu!

I recommend this place to adventurous eaters! Boise is lucky to have a large refugee community and this is a restaurant owned by a local refugee family! The food is delicious, while they aren't always the fastest eat in Boise it is definitely worth checking out if you have the time and you enjoy ethnic food.

Fun, small brewery right across the street from the house. They have good food and a great selection of their house made beers. The patio is nice to sit on during the summer months too!

A fun pond during the summer months, close to the house with large beaches. Along the greenbelt access is easy to either Quinns or Ester Simplot ponds.

The botanical garden and old state pen are definitely beautiful! They do Christmas lights in the winter months and when the garden is in bloom during spring and summer it is gorgeous. They give free tours of the old penitentiary and its fascinating to see!

The Payette river is phenomenal. It is bottom fed from the lakes in Cascade so the water can be a bit colder, but during the hot summer months it is definitely worth the trip to sit on the beach. With a light flow there are large sandy beaches and large eddies for swimming, banks beach is a local favorite and you will see signs on the highway naming the beaches.

The greenbelt runs from all the way downtown to Eagle ID. With accesses all over the city it is a hub of transportation by bike and walking. The path is well maintained and follows the Boise river for most of the way. Such a fun bike or walk ride.
