On weekends kick up your heels to live music in the bar, or enjoy a 5 star dinner. Gift shop, barn, convention center, so many activities. My family loves Chico, grandkids used to call it "Hot Chico".

Bridger Bowl is about an hour drive from my house, and an easy drive to get there. They offer lessons for beginners all the way to black diamond for the advanced skiers! They offer rentals, food and Lots of family fun.

They do winter horse carriage rides at Chico, Cross country skiing and snow-shoeing in the park, Or maybe just a short trail ride out of Chico Hot Springs Barn for all the kids! Located just inside the park's north entrance, look for the 45th parallel sign and turnout for boiling river. Easily accessible trail that is aprox. 1/2 mile hike, and is open dusk to dawn. No spring soaking in high water! For info check with Visitor center or gate. This is a true outdoor experience!!! Where the Boiling River & Cool Gardiner River come together to make a perfect temp for soaking away the day! While watching wildlife right next to you!!

West Yellowstone is a great little town, it offers many eating establishments, so many cute gift shops, lodging, Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center. West comes alive in the winter with snowmobilers everywhere, and cross country skiing! Great tours and rentals. Less than two hours from my home.

It offers many art gallery's , restaurants, gift shops, shopping, historic railway station, and famous for its July fourth rodeo , PBR in Mid July. Every Wednesday night they have a Farmers Market at Sacajawea Park with live entertainment. Fun for whole family.
Everyone enjoys Gardiner, it's the main north entrance to Yellowstone Park, which is also the headquarters for the park . Lots of information. Many gift shops, restaurants, bars and river fun! Its a darling quaint little town.
