Sat on the 160 mile Saxon Shore Way, St Margaret’s Bay’s shingle beach offers a bit of peace and quiet in the heart of White Cliffs Country. A quick stroll up onto the cliff-top may just tempt you on to the 4.7 mile St Margaret’s Bay walk with glorious views and an excuse to visit the historic South Foreland Lighthouse. Back down on the beach there are cups of tea and ice cream to be had from the kiosk, beautiful views, water-sports and plenty of rock pools to explore.
