Neighborhoods

The house is located in the historic Baltimore City neighborhood of Wilson Heights. The house is centrally located near Herring Run Park, and minutes to Downtown Baltimore City! A few things to keep in mind: This is a neighborhood that was hit hard by the housing crisis and is very much in transition. To that end, you might see a beautifully restored colonial next to a vacant boarded up foreclosure. I know my immediate neighbors and many others in the community, and feel very safe and comfortable, both here, and walking around the neighborhood with my kids. The neighborhood is also very diverse, both ethnically and socio-economically. In my opinion, it makes for a rich and beautiful community, reflective of the larger heart and soul of Baltimore City. However, if you get nervous in an urban environment, then this may not be the place for you. PLEASE NOTE: Our expectation is that you will respect our friends and neighbors who live next door and along these streets. We ask that you extend them the same courtesy you would your own neighbors - no loud noises late at night or early in the morning, being conscientious of where you park your car and where you leave your belongings and trash, and not smoking in and around the property.
