Local beauty spots

Avon Beach is a beautiful sandy stretch of beach that boasts a great shop, restaurant and coffee hut. Really safe for swimming as it is lifeguarded. When the tide goes out it also has a wide sandbar that you can walk out too.

The estuary is a really safe and fun place to learn how to paddleboard. If you fall in the water even when the tide is up is only knee high. From the Quay you can get the ferry over to the spit where you will find the most expensive beach huts (probably in the world!) There is also a bar and restaurant that host a range of events over the summer including live music.
