Beaches in Rogoznica

There are numerous beaches in Rogoznica. Most of them are rocky and there is no sandy beaches. But this is what makes Rogoznica special. Here is a selection of beaches closest to the Hillside Apartments walking distance. 1) 2 min walk: down the Jarebinjacka street and you will get to a place with crystal clear water but with concrete to lay on. There are stairs for easy access. 2) 10 min walk: Walk across the bridge, turn left, walk couple of minutes and you will come to a beach with pebbles and shallow water. Suitable for children. 3) 16 min walk: Walk across the bridge, continue straight to the village, walk straight pass the Riva and again straight towards fire station. Here you will find both concrete beach and pebble beach suitable for children and elderly. 4) 18 min walk: Walk towards fire station, continue straight and start walking around the island. Here you will find several places that are on the hills, and there are stairs for entering water. 5) 18 min walk: The dragon Eye lake. You might have heard about Dragon Eye Lake, or you can read more about it in this book, but the lake is wonderful experience and very relaxing. Suitable for older children as they like to jump from the rocks in the lake. 6) 15 min walk: Beach Sepurina has wonderful selection of things to do for kids. It has also sunbeds for rent and beach bar. Read more on the bars section. 7) 15 min walk: Marina Frapa towards Chapel of Virgin Mary. Walk towards Marina Frapa and pass the boats. Almost next to the Chapel of Virgin Mary you can find nice pebble beach with very good shade from the forest near by.
