City advice
What to pack
Bring fly spray and bug repellant - The Brecks do have them!
If you are not covered we would advise you wear Mozzy repellant in the summer when walking - there are lots of mozzys and horse fly's in the forest!
The Brecks generally has a lot of flies - bring fly spray and repellant!
Getting around
A car is useful - but lots of walking from the village
You can get here by public transport as there is a bus that goes from Thetford to Watton through the village however having a car would make trips to thetford, Watton and further afield easy.
There are lots of walks once here that can be undertaken form the village
Shops however need a car - or the bus . Tesco Thetford which is a fair sized supermarket is just 7 minutes away by car - the town centre just a couple of minutes further on - with amole free parking - although it can get a little busy on a Saturday
Don't miss
Lots of quirky local activities and services
Wretham is so central in Norfolk there are many things to do within reach
Even in the village you can walk Alpaccas ( Bookable in advance - number available from Jon at The Waiting Rooms) , watch Motocross - dates available on request - 6 weekends per year
There are even forest stages of rally races
With Snetterton Circuit just up the road there is usually something to do!
