Salt 'O Knokke guidebook

The train can get you ANYWHERE in Belgium, in 10mins you are in Bruges, lovely historical world heritage Bruges... the whole city is within pedestrian reach, so hop on a train and pay a visit ! In 40 mins you are in lovely Ghent, where you have another city that has the sights of canals & boats passing by, the difference here is that the canals have terraces to sit & enjoy a beer or have dinner... also all reachable from the station for pedestrians

Please be aware that a facial mask is obligatory in the WHOLE OF KNOKKE AREA, from arrival in every markets, shopping streets and on the beachfront walkway. You can take your mask off for an ice cream or drink, but it is advised to wear it with at all times, except if you sit down to have a drink!

Yes next to the trainstation the coast tram stops, it starts in KNOKKE (end-station) and goes all the coastline down to THE PANNE! Yes you can take the coast tram to PLOPSA land, although it is a long ride ... Hop off in De HAAN to see how the natural dunes form a barrier between the sea and the city. Visit Ostend, go see the fish mines and fish museums... Explore and don't worry every 10mins there is a new tram in the high season!

Find a free, secured parking in the NIEUWSTRAAT (after the sunflower fields) where you can park your car. During the summer there is a FREE Shopping Shuttle from Duinenwater (50m from our apartment) to Minigolf @ Zoute, end of Kustlaan in Knokke. More info to be found in our apartment !
