Sightseeing
Iznájar is around 30km form our Cortijo, it has a lake where you can swim, paddle board, sail, take a boat tour around the lake and it’s got some really good restaurants our favorite is Paco’s Bar. Walking around Iznájar is well worth the effort some bits are steep but the views are stunning.

Rute is well worth a visit it’s around 9km from our Cortijo, it’s famous for its Anis distillery’s and the chocolate museum. It’s got plenty of shops, cafe bars, restaurants, cloths shops, supermarkets, pharmacies and some stunning views

Lucena is a fairly big in comparison to the other local towns, it’s got everything you will need, it’s famous for manufacturing all kinds of furniture, it’s got plenty of restaurants, cafe bars, large supermarket(Carrefour)

If you stay at Cortijo Colodro you will need some form of transport to get around as we are in the Subbetica National Park.

If you love cycling then your coming to an amazing place, MTB paradise straight from the door, road biking paradise from the road CO-7212. Most of the rides are very hilly with some steep climbs but with amazing views of the mountains in the National Park.
