BDO is a Universal Bank should you need to do any banking while on your stay. Their Forex rates aren't great (from experience) but for us locals, their branches and ATMs are everywhere so it's convenience and accessibility that makes them the biggest retail bank in the country.

Recommended with caution because you could either love or hate this place. It's a building filled with stalls, shops selling literally anything and everything. These stalls supply stores and do sell in volume so it can be chaotic as other businesses come here to source for goods. Bring cash and your best negotiation skills. You don't have to buy in bulk but always ask for a discount!

Parks & Nature

Just a cute park if you're missing the trees and greenery. On SUNDAY MORNINGS there is a food market hidden in the grounds. It is called Legaspi Village Market. Make sure you go!
Historic Park that used to be an airport in the 1930's. It is called as such because of its triangular shape. The avenues that border it used to be the runways. If the weather is nice you could go for a run here.

You have to plan in advance when you come here because they limit the visitors to maintain the environment. Make sure you get a booking time on their website. Go for an early time because there's not a lot of coverage on this hike.

I enjoy the music here, they're usually playing hits from the 90's which really makes for a fun not so early night. The lines can be long so come early or get a table, they are not so expensive.

Sightseeing

It's the old walled city of Manila leftover from the Spanish Era. The best way to enjoy Intramuros is through a walking tour with CARLOS CELDRAN. Google him and book a slot. Worth it.

It's the only aquarium in Metro Manila which honestly is shabby in comparison to international aquariums. It was much better when it newly opened but over the years it just hasn't really been maintained. It's also small so you could probably go through all the exhibits in an hour or two.

Arts & Culture

It's a shame Manila's not too into Arts and Culture but definitely check out the AYALA MUSEUM and have a drink at M Cafe afterwards. M Cafe turns into a lively scene in the evenings. Don't miss it!
