Red's Grill and Pub recently changed their name and menu from Jambonz Grill and Pub. Same owner, always great food. Bear Butte Gardens sometimes supplies garden vegetables to Red's Grill and Pub for their daily specials.

If you love history, you really need to check out the Fort Meade Museum, between The Cottage at Bear Butte Gardens and Sturgis in Fort Meade, an old cavalry post. Fort Meade still hosts National Guard OCS trainings each year and is also the closest Veterans Administration Health Care facility.

Days of 76 Museum and Adams Museum and House are also great stops. Our favorite coffee and sandwich stop in Deadwood is The Pump House at Mind Blown Studio where you can grab lunch and coffee or tea and watch a local glassblower do her craft.
