Basically you partying in the walls of the ancient fortress that surrounds Dubrovnik. High vaulted ceilings, flashing lights, fog, lots of people, fantastic sound system. Drinks are of course expensive. But it's a very convenient location as well.

Only 5 minutes walk from Ploce Gate in the Old Town and offers waiter serviced loungers during the day (Sandy beach with Old Town View, and great for kids), and DJ and club in the evenings. Very smart surroundings, attentive waiting staff and good food.

The island is a nature reserve with rabbits and peacocks strutting about and you can explore the island unaided and see all the different parts like the old monastery and a little salt lake in the middle of the island which you can also swim in. It's a really relaxing place to spend a day, and the food options on the island are lovely if a little more expensive than Dubrovnik itself. If you are a Game of Thrones fan, you will recognize much of the environment, and you can sit on the real Throne in Monastery.
