Great building, great real ales. Real fires, bar snacks, very local. The House is tucked away above the busy street of Stonegate - it's easy to miss it, look for 'Little Betty's' and it's to the right of this! It's on off-licence downstairs, the bar is accessed by a narrow staircase. Get's very busy very quickly, so go late in the afternoon/early evening, around 5pm, then bunk down for the evening!

Parks & Nature

Park established by the philanthropist (and chocolatier!), Joseph Rowntree. Nice place for a walk down by the river. Has a café, so you can stop off for an ice cream or a cup of tea along the way. Don't plan on a picnic though, the geese have left their mark........!
