New Ross is the home of the Dunbrody Famine Ship and JFK Arboretum & I highly recommended you visit both, while in the area. Tintern Abbey & Colclough Walled Gardens are both splendid and deserve a mention.

A visit to Cushendale Woollen Mills were you can view and purchase the wide range of throws and scarves from this very talented artisan craft maker.
