If you follow this trail far enough you can walk right out to the Puget Sound. It has a bit of elevation change, making it very scenic and great exercise.

Getting around
Some of the ferry terminals have different names.
West Seattle = Fauntleroy Terminal
Tacoma = Point Defiance Terminal
Vashon Island North Terminal = Vashon
Vashon Island South Terminal = Tahlequah
Southworth = Southworth Terminal
Getting around
Watch for deer crossing the roads.
There are a lot of deer and other wildlife on Vashon Island, so keep an eye out when driving. Be extra careful in the Spring and Summer months of the baby fawns since they are more likely to wander into the roads.
