A really good and budget friendly restaurant in the center of town, just a few minutes from the Cathedral and central square. It's very popular with local people and tourists since it offers all kinds of local food at reasonable prices. A really good and budget friendly restaurant in the center of town, just a few minutes from the Cathedral and central square. It's very popular with local people and tourists since it offers all kinds of local food at reasonable prices. If you don't find a place to sit since it's often very busy try the similar and equally good Leonardo restaurant just above this one.
Excellent grill within walking distance to the apartment. It's on the 9th place according to Trip advisor. The food is excellent and the prices more than reasonable for what it has to offer. Definitely a place for good quality food in a stylishly decorated locale with great service.

Park Maksimir, which was originally formed on the outskirts of Zagreb at the end of 18 th and the first half of 19 th century, today is completely surrounded with town settlements. In this new surrounding Park Maksimir still represents a shelter for many plant and animal species, despite its small area of only 316 ha. Winter working hours: from October 15 to April 15 Thursday – Sunday 10.00 a.m. - 4.00 p.m. Zagreb Zoo is located within the park. Zoo is open every day, as well as at weekends and on holidays. Zoo has seasonal opening and closing times that change at the beginning of each month.
