City/town information

Silverthorne is one of the larger cities along the I-70 corridor. It has everything you need, from a grocery store, restaurants, ski and bike shops, breweries, coffee shops, and the outlets. There is a great bike path right outside the front door that leads down into town and along the river.

Dillon is a small town along the lake with a marina where you can hang out on the beach or go stand up paddle boarding. From Dillon you can ride your bike all the way around the lake or just go for a stroll and enjoy the local farmer's market on Fridays. There are also many restaurants and a great concert venue right on the water's edge.

Frisco is just one exit up along I-70 and takes about 10 minutes to get there. This is a great town to stroll around in. The local bookstore is one of our favorites and there are some really great restaurants in town. On the Frisco side of the lake there is another marina and beaches all along the water front that you can hike or bike to. The Frisco Adventure Park is a fun place to play. Bring your bikes, go for a hike, or frisbee golf. In the winter there is also a nordic ski area. Right off the exit is Epic Mountain Gear, Whole Foods and a local brewery and coffee roaster.

A little further down on main street in Frisco. You can take the second Frisco exit so you don't have to drive all the way through town. This place is great for groups and families, and also if you just want a bit nicer meal.

Absolutely love this place! The vibe there is truly unique and carefully curated. Coffee and snacks are good, too! They even have a vending machine that dispenses tarot cards. So excited that this place is open now.

Can't decide what to eat? Bluebird Market has something for everyone, including pizza, fried chicken, tacos, empanadas, ice cream and a bar. You won't go hungry here, and there's even a place where the kids (or adults) can play old school video games!

This is a great place for walking, biking, and SUP. You can access all of these things from the Dillon or Frisco side of the reservoir. This is a beautiful spot to hang out and enjoy the fresh mountain air.
