Tram / street car in both ends of the road. If you walk from bottom to top, turn right, and you will see the king's palace and the park surrounding it. Take a stroll though that too!

Frogner is a residential area from around 1890-1919, with bars, boutiques, coffee shops, restaurants and delis. Nice, safe and cosy. Tramline from Majorstua and city. Nice for a stroll any time.

Aker Brygge, a former dock area, and Tjuvholmen may seem like tourist traps, but are actually quite nice. Nice bars (try The Thief) and restaurants. Astrup Fearnley art museum is a must.

Our micro Manhattan. Mostly offices and residential,with a few places to eat. In summer, the veteran tram (free) ends/starts here. Really worth a try! Carry on to Bjørvik/Sørenga after you hop off.

Skiing. Fast. Slalom,snowboard, rent toboggan, and so on. Worth it if you like it. I do! Subway line 1, almost on my doorstep. Also a place to start hiking/cross country. Places to eat. FRESH air.
