Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa in Welsh) is the highest mountain in Wales and England. Choose from six different paths to conquer this 1,085 metre (3,560 feet) giant which are the Llanberis path, Pyg Track, Miners’ Track, Watkin Path, Rhyd-Ddu Path or the Snowdon Ranger Path.

Sightseeing

Living museum in former Victorian quarry, with original artefacts and educational activities, a history of slate mining. Great for whole family, take a picnic and swimming costumes for a swim in the lake after visiting the museum.

The Dinorwic Quarry Hospital Museum - housing some of the original equipment from the 1800's. Restored Ward and Operating Theatre, original X-Ray Machine and other bits of gruesome medical equipment.

Muddy boots and dogs always welcome. Ideal stop off point for walkers on the Llanberis Path up Snowdon. Charities needing HQ for charity walks welcome.
