When your looking for that steak dinner at a great price this is where you want to go. They have a fairly simple dinner menu, all you need to select is the size of your steak. They also have a full bar and nightly drink specials.

Sightseeing

This pass is only open seasonally, due to the fact that during our colder months it is completely buried under several feet of snow. For that memorable mountain drive over the Continental Divide, just head over to County Road 306 and up over the pass. Then head on down to Taylor Park Reservoir. From there head South towards Gunnison along the Taylor River. You will not regret this drive. Have lunch in Gunnison and then come back the way you came to enjoy the drive one more time.

This is a beautiful drive from Twin Lakes to Aspen, Colorado on Highway 82. It is closed part of the year, so make sure that the pass is open or still open prior to taking this breath taking drive and DO NOT FORGET YOUR CAMERA! Be aware that there is a section of this road that goes down to just one land, so be patient and take turns. Along this route you will see many opportunities to stop, get out of you vehicle, and just take-in the scenery. Do that and do it with a camera, you will want to share these photos with your friends and family.

City/town information

The town of Salida is just 35 minutes South of our location and a great place to visit. They have and old town district that seems to be right out of an early century movie and a great river walk and down town river park, where most of their festivals are held.

We are conveniently located just 10 minutes from down town Buena Vista, an authentic small 1880's town that offers quaint gift shops, restaurants, eateries, bars, easy river access and scenic walking paths along the Arkansas river and a hiking path up the old Midland Rail Road Trail. The tracks have been removed, but the history of events that took place are still there and noted by commemorative historic plaques.
