Sightseeing

This community just to the North is nice walk to see beach homes and beachfront. Continue past it to more remote sanyd tidal flats at low tide. Walk past the old pilings and watch for Bald Eagles who love to perch here.

One of the Northwest's most scenic spots. Deception Pass is at the opposite end of the island 51 miles to the north. Good 'day trip' destination to see all of Whidbey Island. Currents can be quite swift as the tide ebbs or flows through here. Large whirlpools, stunning views, trails, campground, swimming lake, and a nice beach/park. Boat ramp at Cornet Bay nearby.

Ken's Korner Red Apple Market

From Anchors Away, this is the nearest place to pick up food, convenience items, gas, etc. While listed as a convenience store, it's sort of the local hangout for the locals who love to enjoy a glass of wine or a beer togther. Basically, a mini tavern built next to the convenience store.
