What to pack

Visiting the Beach

Visiting the beach is a year-round activity! WHAT TO BRING - I always bring a sweatshirt, beach towel , and a bottle of water with me no matter what time of year it is. You just never know! SUMMER MONTHS (July-August)- During the summer we get a late afternoon wind (it's cold!) so if you are planning beach activities, I recommend you go earlier in the day. By 2-3 pm the wind comes up. WINTER MONTHS - The ocean is a magnificent sight in the winter! But, please, please, please be cautious of the high tidal waves that come crashing in. Watch them from a distance.
