Food scene

One of the top-rated Kosher restaurants in the city. Upscale, amazing aesthetics, and even better staff. Further, I've had some of my favorite sushi dishes, here. Try the Volcano Roll! When their outdoor space is open, it offers incredible views of the city. Great for dates, families, anyone. Hard to count how many engagement proposals I've seen happen here.

Not only does it offer amazing Italian dishes in its restaurant that is perfectly located to take in great views while dining, but it also serves as a unique market to get some hard-to-find groceries. Best to make a reservation in advance.

Parks

This park is one of my absolute favorites across all of NY. It wraps around the waterfront and offers views of Jersey City and the Statue of Liberty. Lots of trees, fresh air, and bike paths abound. It's pet-friendly, and near some of the best restaurants in the Financial District/Seaport area.
