Pakenham is the site of two of Lanark County’s Seven Wonders- the Five Span Bridge built in 1901 and St. Peter’s Celestine Catholic Church. Another hidden treasure is the Pakenham General Store which dates back to 1840 and is Canada’s oldest general store to have operated continuously on its original site, in its original stone building.

The centrepiece of the dining hall is the handcrafted stone fireplace built from stones collected right here on the Highland Line.
Our food is cooked in our open kitchen and served directly to your table. Ordering is by menu. Served with Pure Maple Syrup made right here. Seating is first-come-first-served on Spring Weekends (group reservations accepted at other times)

The public boat launch is 5min away from our Airbnb and we have ample parking for your boat on our property. Cost is free if not parking trailer or $10 if leaving boat trailer on city parking.

We are located 2 mins from the expansive OVR Trail (Ottawa Valley Recreation Trail) which has assess for walking, biking, ATV and snowmobiles. This trail leads directly into the town of Carleton Place and connects all local towns (Smith Falls, Almonte, Pakenham etc)
