Classic dive bar. The crowd is friendly, the drinks are cheap and strong. Charlie's has pool tables and occasionally live music. Unfortunately, Charlie's is the smokiest place you've ever been, so be prepared. I find when I go, when I get home, I strip down on my porch, put the clothes is a plastic bag so my house doesn't smell like cigarettes and I head straight for the shower.
