Whether the bike ferry is running or not, this is sort of the end of the bike path. Great bike ride destination or good for long runs in marathon training. TIP: there are places to park closer to the causeway (Airport Park). Once you are on the causeway you are surrounded by the lake and it can be windy - for miles!

City advice

Don't miss

Saturday farmer’s market on Pine St is a don’t miss

Pair this with a walk on the bike path, around Perkins Pier, and get a hard cider afterward at Citizen Cider.
Customs and culture

Poutine is what?

Pretty popular now, but virtually unknown outside of Quebec, Canada until a few years ago, this French fry treat is smothered in savory gravy and melty cheese curds. Most places in Burlington now have their own version.
