Local Art Exhibits and Education

This is a great place to connect with a non-profit organization that supports all areas of the arts. There is always an exhibit featuring an artist. They have an informative website, and the Executive Director, Greg Smith puts out a newsletter monthly.

I recommend this place as a stop on Saturday mornings while visiting the Farmer’s Market. A local artist and friend of our family is there from 10 a.m. -1 p.m. to visit with the public. Jo-an Smith is a goldsmith and painter. She sells smaller pieces of arts as well as greeting cards with images of some of her signature pieces or larger paintings.

Very historic place, with well-known Mexican cuisine. It is frequented by tourists, but as a self-acclaimed foodie and local--it is worth going for the ambiance but does not rate as high on authentic flavors.
