Marconi Station area in South Wellfleet - A wonderful boardwalk through a forest(stunted oak and pine forest leading into a matre woodalne) just over the dunes from the ocean. Bring bug spray in June/July. Moderately difficult: there are some steep stairs and the return route is a half mile in soft sand. 195 Marconi Station Road

Talk to a ranger about other options to optimize your Cape Cod experience! We often park in their large lot and bike to Coast Guard Beach along the rolling bike/walking path. Once at the beach, you have restrooms and changing rooms...even an outdoor shower!
