A great little pub and a popular stop for cyclists. We visited for a Sunday roast and we can certainly see why they're famous. We opted for the roast beef, two huge slices that melted in the mouth with the biggest yorkshire puddings we've ever seen. The portions are huge. The staff friendly.

As well as beautiful grounds to stroll around there is plenty on offer for the children including an adventure park, train and miniature houses to play in. We never miss the evening concerts in the summer or watch lambs being born on lambing Sunday. Check out if anything is happening during your stay, you won't be disappointed.
