Stunning walk along the wall to the famous Tree featured in Robin Hood Prince of thieves. 25 mins travel time. 2 hour walk for adults there and back from Housesteads. Relatively challenging walk in places. Pack good footwear and expect harsher weather up on moors. Worth the effort. Park at Housesteads car park and make you way up onto the wall. Cafe and visitor centre at Housesteads.

A personal favourite of mine. Take out pizza made in a van that moves around the Tyne Valley. Outstanding Neapolitan style pizza. For latest locations and times check http://www.fireanddough.co.uk/ as it changes all the time. Check their latest Facebook pictures for latest menus, locations and be sure to ring the correct van as they have several numbers. Always ring ahead as they are busy and their locations do change. Best pizza in the Tyne Valley.
