I have canoed down the river Orb four times now and every time is an amazing adventure. What makes this place so special? I have spotted a family of otters, glanced massive barb fish swimming in the depths below, been lucky enough to see a spectacular heron flying low right across the river as I floated on a 'magic carpet' in the tranquillity of nature.

Reals Canoeing
RD36I have canoed down the river Orb four times now and every time is an amazing adventure. What makes this place so special? I would highly recommend a hike up to the L’Ermitage Saint-Étienne. The ascent is done mostly with a canopy of trees. On arriving at the top your gaze is lost to infinity. The grand panoramic view is dominated by the plains and the winding river Orb as it makes its way to the sea which shines on the horizon.
