we are 25 minutes outside the historic and beautiful city of York - with it's Minster, cobbled medieval streets, fascinating museums and galleries. Not to mention the shopping and excellent eating and drinking places.
Our pretty village is five minutes from the market town of Pocklington, with it's popular restaurants and pubs. It is easy to access the A1079, from where you can go exploring - into York, or head to Beverley. You can discover the Yorkshire Wolds on your doorstep, or venture a little further into the dramatic landscape if the North York Moors National Park. A great place from which to go exploring!

Largest Gothic cathedral in Northern Europe, steeped in history. There is so much to see within the Minster including the Roman ruins beneath it and the exhibition about restoration of the beautiful stained glass, as well as the Minster itself.
