The vineyard is a three mile drive with a beautiful view. This family friendly outdoor setting has been a favorite for our family for over 15 years. We suggest packing a picnic lunch (bring your own water, theirs is overpriced!).

Waterfalling

If you love the outdoors there are several beautiful waterfall hikes within an hour drive. Stillhouse Hollow Falls is one of the closest, featuring a moderate hike through woods and along a stream and a wading pool at the base of the falls.

Cummins Falls is famous around here for its fantastic swimming hole, so pack your swimsuit for this hike. Because of it's popularity, hiking reservations are required in advance, go to the park website to reserve a date well in advance. Not for the faint of heart - several water crossings, rock scrambling, and a long hike in but well worth it! It is a flash flood zone, so be aware of the weather in surrounding areas and make sure young ones have a life vest!

Another close waterfall adventure (about 45 min from Arrington), Old Stone Fort boasts multiple falls, cascades, and pools to explore. Great in the summer when the water levels are a little lower to allow for swimming and climbing on falls. In spring, the bluebell fields are beautiful.

The Natchez Trace Parkway features several falls nearby. Jackson falls is the easiest to access, just a short paved walk from the parking lot down to a beautiful gorge. If you are adventurous, you can climb up the right hand side of the falls and hike up the Duck River for more water fun.
