An awe inspiring experience of an old ocean bottom. The red rocks will mesmerize you and leave you with memories of a lifetime. Experience a hike, swim, jeep tour, bike ride, or a vortex! Some favorite trails include cathedral rock, templeton to the river, or drive to end of old school road and walk the river. If you like views, try doe mountain (east hike great views), or hangover trail. Stop in at hideaway house for great Italian food, or Tara Thai in oak creek

What to pack
Hydration
Drink water. Flagstaff is at 7,000 feet and hydration is important.
What to pack
Bring a jacket
Even in the summer, evenings can cool off. A light jacket or fleece can be needed. Shorts during the day, jacket at night, can often be desired. Wear sunscreen!
Getting around
Get going early if you have the energy!
Flagstaff can get busy. Early bird gets the worm.
