It's a beautiful place to take a canoe trip.
Most of the people go to the guarded beach. But if you enjoy free space, privacy and you want to get away from the crowd, I recommend you to go to the so-called wild beach. You can get there by first leaving your car (if you have one), in the parking lane near the lake Bukowo (it's free). And then you walk first as if you were going to Dabkowice. You'll see that there are narrow forest ways going towards Dabkowice. You shall walk for 500 m or sth like that and then turn right towards the sea. You'll see every once in a while forest ways going there. The further you go, the more space you'll have for yourself.

Borkowo megalithic cemetery is a prehistoric burial ground situated in the county of Sławno, in Western Pomerania, Poland.
The site consists of a passage grave, unchambered long barrows, and other tumuli. The most impressive monument, Borkowo, is passage grave made with heavy boulders and capstones. It is around 4.5 metres long, with a width of 1.5 metres. The grave is assigned to the Funnelbeaker culture of the Chalcolithic Age.

The local grocery store is only 5 minutes away from the apartment, it's at the other side of the river Bukowo, near the cemetery. You can get all the essentials from there, but be aware that it's a bit more expensive than the grocery store Tesco in the resort town Dabki.

Food Scene
The best place to get good waffles is near the lake Bukowo in Dabki. I recommend getting waffles with fresh fruits. They are called: Gofry z swiezymi owocami. It's really cheap - 6 zl. And when you are coming from the beach it's the best place to have a quick snack. Just next to it is a bike-coffee place. It's really hard to find good coffee in Poland (I come from Estonia, where the coffee scene is marvellous), but this place I recommend, even though the quality of the coffee depends on which barista is working.

If you want to try Polish traditional food, then I recommend you go to OBORA. When you go towards Darlowo, on the way you'll see a huge cow sculpture, the restaurant is just there. The prices are very reasonable and the food delicious.

Well... this one is very special. You have definitely heard of Stonehenge, this is basically one of the Polish megalithic altar-tombs, stone circles so to speak. It is believed to have been a place for religious ceremonies and ritual burials from almost 2000 years ago.

The regional museum (Muzeum w Koszalinie) gives an overview of the history of Koszalin and its surrounding areas with the exhibition of archaeological findings, coin collections and historic pictures and artefacts. It also has an interesting art exhibition on the second floor.
