Swing in to the market out front get some gas and grab a Mac nut bar...side cuts are best with their chewy edges. Behind the Cafe is a fun gift shop with all kinds of items made by local artists. Their quilt section is unbelievable with local quilts and supplies for the crafter in your family.

A Spectacular Green Sand Beach located out of South Point. Park and then Pay the guys with the 4wd trucks to drive you there and back. The drive is a blast and the to walk it is quite a workout. Worth every penny for the drive back and forth.

Located right outside the neighborhood on Hwy11, this is a convenient spot to pick up snacks, drinks and forgotten necessities without having to go into Hilo or Keaau. They do close early at 6pm. They have most anything you could need in a pinch as well as a lunch counter that is open till 2pm. The lunch counter offers burgers, hotdogs, breakfast and local kine food. They also sell their own t-shirt with some cool artwork!
