Amazing seafood, terrific service, and a great atmosphere. Go early and put your name in, you can expect a few hour wait if you get there around noon so take in the sites in the surrounding neighborhood and they will text you when your table is ready.

We are cupcake connoisseurs and these are better than any we have ever tasted with such unique flavors. I would also try the almond orange cookie (which is gluten free) as it is delicious!

The most wonderful guides and equipment in Shem Creek. Ben will take care of you if you are an experienced kayaker or paddle boarder or if you would like to learn more about the region. It is a perfect activity for all ages! It is exciting to watch for the dolphins as they pop up in the river right beside you.

We love walking all of the streets in Wagener Terrace, especially the ones that dead end into the water. Lowndes Grove is also at the end of this street which is a private event estate that overlooks the water and is just beautiful.

Absolutely gorgeous neighborhood. You will look at all of the meticulously cared for homes and want to move right in. Be sure to stop at the Post House for a post-walk cocktail or dinner.

Getting around

Biking Tips

When you are taking the bikes out for a ride and heading up and down the peninsula, be sure to ride up toward Hampton Park on Ashley and back down on Rutledge. There is plenty of space and far fewer cars than busy Coming street or King. Don't forget your bike lock and have a beautiful ride.
