This is a lovely place to go and feed the ducks or the squirrels. Walk around the lake, have a cuppa or an ice cream, hire a peddle boat maybe or sit and watch the world go by. This lovely place is very close to the beach and only a short walk from my pottery studio.

This place is always popular, grab the bucket and spade and make some sand sculptures. You are never too old to have fun on the beach. This place is perfect for fresh air and fun, surfing is possible and hire equipment is available, cafes and the Sea Life Centre is only a short stoll along the beach. This beautiful beach is about a 15 minute walk from my pottery studio.

North Bay Beach
This place is always popular, grab the bucket and spade and make some sand sculptures. You are never too old to have fun on the beach. This spot is a favourite spot of ours. A steep walk through woodland brings you onto a rocky beach and waterfall. There is a great country pub with beer garden nearby too which do lovely food. You will need a car to get to this beauty spot as it is a little drive out of Scarborough.
