Food scene

Too many great restaurants to name, so I'm just sharing a few that are in our area, and a few worth driving to.
Steps away from our cottage... A wonderful fine dining experience. Great food and impeccable service. I recommend the soufflé for dessert! You're lucky if you get Captain Dan as your server. He's amazing and can recommend the perfect wine to go with your dish. Dress appropriately to dine here. Make a reservation well in advance!

The chef is the real deal! Friendly atmosphere. You can sit at the wine bar if you have to wait. They have a nice selection of wines. Just a block away.

I love the food at this restaurant. The food is authentic and sooo good. It's on the quiet side. The owner can be grouchy... so don't be late and dress nicely (no flip flops, cut offs or tank tops). About a 7 minute walk further down Thames.

I love the food at this restaurant. The food is authentic and sooo good. It's on the quiet side. The owner can be grouchy... so don't be late and dress nicely (no flip flops, cut offs or tank tops). About a 7 minute walk further down Thames.
Great breakfast spot.... recommend driving. They don't take reservations so there's always a wait, but the food is worth it.

Good food and a funky vibe. You can choose your tequila. This is a very fun place. They also have a good brunch. It's a bit of a longer walk, so we usually drive. There is paid parking available.

When we feel like pizza and don't feel like driving or walking.... we order delivery from Mama Leone's. It's delicious. The large pizza is on the small side and perfect for two people.

Delicious food, creative menu, good drinks and right across the street from our cottage! Reservations are required… including seats at the bar where you can watch the chefs cook and chat with the bartenders. The Porterhouse Halibut is amazing!
