If you want to go for a walk/run, there is a 2.5 mile loop around Rice University. Walking the pretty campus is nice too. You can walk there as it is about half a mile away. Want a longer route? Connect to Hermann Park and make it a 6 mile route by using the path that goes around the zoo/golf course.
