This is the beach located in front of the cottage. It is miles and miles of beautiful, secluded and private coastline. There is a mile long stretch which is mainly unused by the public. To the left is Rhyl - arcades (dog friendly) and the hustle and bustle of a seaside town with amusements. To the right is the Nova Centre. * see Nova Centre page.

Bets -y-Coed is the perfect starting point to a whole host of walks in the stunning welsh countryside. There are walks for all abilities, and the scenery is breathtaking. The village is full of lovely tea rooms and great cafes and pubs too for that hard earned pint after a long walk!

The cottage is located directly on the North Wales Coastal path, from here there are endless walks along the beach. The promenade is also perfect terrain for buggies and cyclists.

Beaumaris needs no explaining. It is a popular destination and the drive from the cottage to the famous village on the Menai Strait is breathtaking. Numerous dog friendly eateries and a lovely place to walk around and enjoy the shops and views.

Harkers arcade is dog friendly should you be on a family trip and like to keep your furry friends with you. It is slightly loud so not ideal for the more nervous of dogs. It’s also our favourite arcade for ticket collecting (says my 5yr old!.)
